On the afternoon of May 12, 2026, an academic lecture on international vocal art exchange and vocal talent cultivation was held in the college’s orchestral rehearsal hall. The event was co-hosted by the School of Education and Music and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, serving as a key initiative to promote internationalized education and high-quality development of arts education at the college.

The lecture featured Professor Ed Bryant, Director of Vocal Instruction at Southeastern University (USA), and soprano Professor Shudong Luo as keynote speakers. The two experts shared in-depth insights on topics including international vocal trends, singing techniques, stage performance, and talent cultivation concepts. Following the presentations, six students performed on stage and received one-on-one coaching. The experts provided live critiques, corrections, and demonstrations, covering vocal techniques, emotional expression, and musical interpretation. During the interactive session, faculty and students actively raised questions and engaged in in-depth discussions with the experts on topics such as professional training and further studies abroad.

This lecture served as a concrete step for the college to introduce high-quality overseas educational resources and expand international cooperation channels.
