Youngsan University (Korea) Delegation Visits Guilin College and Signs MOU

On June 4, a delegation from Youngsan University, Korea, led by Vice President Ham Jeong-Oh, visited Guilin College. President Wu Guoquan met with the delegation, and Vice President He Ling chaired the cooperation meeting and signing ceremony.

He Ling welcomed the delegation and introduced Guilin College's profile, noting its commitment to applied undergraduate education and international cooperation. Youngsan University's well-established master's and doctoral programs align well with the needs of Guilin College's faculty and students. Ham Jeong-Oh introduced Youngsan University's academic programs and international admission policies, and outlined plans for faculty-student exchanges and joint graduate training. The two vice presidents then signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Following the ceremony, a study-abroad information session was held for faculty and students, featuring presentations by Vice President Ham Jeong-Oh and International Admissions Officer Heo Jaeho on master's and doctoral programs as well as short-term exchange opportunities.

This visit and the MOU signing mark an important step in Guilin College's cooperation with Korean higher education institutions. The college will now work to implement exchange programs and other collaborative initiatives to build a sustainable international education partnership.
