On June 9, a cultural exchange event themed "Ethnic Charm and Cultural Exchange" was held at Guilin College, with nearly 30 faculty and students from Hong Kong Metropolitan University and Nanning Normal University.

Professor Shi Lifan gave a lecture on Guilin's tourism culture and heritage. A cultural showcase featured bamboo dances, folk songs, opera, poetry, paper-cutting, calligraphy, and ethnic costumes, with Hong Kong students participating in hands-on activities.

The event, part of the Ministry of Education's "Ten Thousand Talents" initiative, aimed to promote cultural interaction between mainland and Hong Kong universities. Vice President He Ling said the exchange strengthened friendships and laid the groundwork for future cooperation.
